Leververtragingen ivm COVID-19

Houdt u rekening mee met de volgende informatie van onze logistieke partner a.u.b.:

The congestion issues currently being experienced at key Ports in South China is set to worsen. With many carriers, alliances and operators being impacted by vessel omissions, severe delays and diversions. The issue was exacerbated by a Covid-19 breakout in Yantian, which saw the Port closed operationally and huge queues of containers witing to get to the quay.

Yantian is not the only port suffering. All other ports in the region are feeling the strain of increased demand, full vessels that cannot offload boxes at Yantian and delays are set to surpass 14 days. Over 100 sailings have been forced to omit, or divert, which is having a major impact on schedule integrity, container availability, vessel space and of course, Box Rates.

We will continue to keep you updated of the ongoing situation and we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as the global shipping industry suffers from this latest in a line of setbacks.
